I have no idea how much time it takes to write a blog versus creating, maintaining, and editing it (keeping up with and implementing the latest developments in internet technology and the blogosphere). My friend says he has 10 years of experience with web development and could provide all of the "internet marketing, e-commerce, blogging, search engine optimization, web application development, social networking, social media optimization, graphic design, interface design, copywriting, etc." He proposed splitting the profits from ads, affiliate links, etc. 50/50 and letting me keep 100% of the profits I get from referrals for my private counseling business, but 50/50 feels too high. What do you think is a reasonable percentage split of profits? Would you recommend splitting profits, or having some other business model (flat fee, hourly pay, etc.)? And any suggestions on how to fashion a prearranged buyout agreement in case we decide to split ways in the future so I can retain the site?

Just wondering if anybody knows which is more effective for search engine optimisation, or whether it makes a difference at all?
My current website contains pages with %20 rather than a dash or any other kind of seperator. I would also like to know what other ways can you seperate words?
Thanks for the help

Why is it that in the main "world" soccer (football) page of Yahoo! there is no reference to any of South American leagues? You have only European (and USA) sub pages. What about Brazil, Argentina (nos. 1 and 2 in FIFA ranking) and suppliers of players to the European leagues… (not to mention Uruguay, Paraguay, Colombia, Peru, etc.).

Alot of times im searching for something like dogs for example on google and then a yahoo answers page of someone asking something of dogs will appear on the front page in google. My question is why do questions made by people here appear so high on google? it just doesnt make sense that people will spend thousands on search engine optimization and some random person will simply ask a question here and it will appear on the front page of google beating a bunch of sites?
