Hi, I have recently completed an online store for selling outer-space collectibles for space-enthusiasts. It is called "Space Mugs!" at http://www.cafepress.com/SpaceMugs

I chose a catchy title, put together some interesting products, added tags, keywords, and descriptions for my products for search engine optimization. I also sent a few emails to friends. I also added a script that tracks user behavior on my site.

Is there anything else I can or should do? My budget is extremely limited. Or should I just wait and see what happens?

I uploaded Joomla in one directory and Drupal in another directory, because they both have their own index.php for their home page, and I created names for these directories to match a website name, does that make them separate websites in your main site, or because they are located as sub directories, are they only considered a sub directory in your main site.

This has been bothering me since I have started my site, because I do a link exchange with a website, and they ask me if I have any other sites to exchange with, and I tell them the sub directory site I created and they don’t respond.

Also, is it better for Search Engine Optimization to have multiple websites instead of sub directory websites? And is it also best because Google adsense pays you for more impressions and clicks?
Example: My main site is mainsite.com/index.php(Drupal), and I have a sub-directory called mainsite.com/GamerPlace/index.php(Joomla), and it has its own database, then I have another sub-directory called mainsite.com/Game_Reviews/index.php(PHPNuke, and it has its own database and structure.

I am not looking for a Basement Bob – we have a serious online reputation and wish to maintain it. Right now our site is OK at converting but the problem is we are nowhere near page one on Google for our phrases.

I’m starting a blog where I will be creating video and text entries on the subject of search engine optimization. I will be updating, pinging, syndicating, adsensing ect. and last but not least, promoting my new how-to product.

Curious….. Blogspot.com would be the easy quick fix to accommodate these tasks, but am I better off (More professional) using a subdomain within my website?

What about using wordpress in conjunction with my, paid for, website? I’m unfamiliar with this process, willing to learn.
